The chair is constructed from a combination of hardwood and MDF. The seat is filled with VP35 foam and the backrest with VP21 foam, ensuring firm and comfortable seating. The foam seat is supported by strong elastic straps. The legs are birch, and the upholstery is made of soft Almon boucle with a Martindale rating of 60,000, suitable for moderately intensive use. The dense weave ensures durability and high color fastness, although direct sunlight is avoided to prevent color gradations.
The Sara chair is 71 cm high, 59 cm wide, and 70 cm deep. The seat height is 44 cm, the seat width is 56 cm, and the seat depth is 53 cm. The backrest is 35 cm high, and the legs are 25 cm high with a circumference of 3 cm. The chair weighs 9 kg and has a maximum weight capacity of 90 kg.
For maintenance, dab stains dry immediately without rubbing and, if necessary, clean with lukewarm water in a gentle, circular motion, working from the outside in. If possible, the upholstery can be washed or steam-cleaned. Waterproofing is generally not recommended, but can be applied to an inconspicuous area after a test run.
The Sara chair is delivered as a kit with simple assembly instructions for the legs. To protect hard floors, we recommend placing felt pads under the legs. This piece of furniture is suitable for indoor use only.
